The Kiss of Nessemi
Is anywhere on Thera safe from Nessemi?
Or the hell that lies beyond?
“With respect, the true love that remains is far greater than the sum of all that you offer me. This is not my time.”
Emilya Luca has been executed, personally, by the vile Prince Magnus. Or has she?
As chaos envelops the world of Thera following the announcement of the incoming Nessemi, Emilya must make an enormous personal sacrifice. Meanwhile, following the dramatic return to Ghantiss of Princess Alicya, Magnus evades justice for her attempted murder, but Martha Dolmen remains adamant that his day of reckoning grows close.
Elsewhere, anarchy and atrocities escalate, as the entire population of planet Thera attempt to process the possible end of their world. A mad rush for the government-built shelters ensues, although for most of our heroes, events don’t pan out so favourably – as they find themselves pitched into perilous circumstances and a game of chance as to who will live and who will die from the cataclysmic kiss of Nessemi.
Meanwhile, as The Nessemiah comes to its stunningly dramatic conclusion, Arran Reed discovers a far greater threat that will come after Nessemi…
'These books continue to remind me of A Song of Ice and Fire, with a deadly looming threat overshadowing peril and conflict in the lives of our characters. Beardmore knows when to finish a book leaving you asking questions and keen to discover more.’ -- LoveReading
‘I am in awe at the depth of creativity and cultivated discipline to see this complex story through. The characterisation is terrific! I would give an arm and a leg to have these books directed into a movie series’. -- onlinebookclub.org
